Will the cuts affect Calderdale as much
as the remainder of the Country, I
think not! I constantly promote Calderdale
throughout West Yorkshire, our London
office and beyond as I firmly believe that
we are in a very fortunate position in respect
of our commercial location. Communication
links and commercial growth help greatly in
benefitting a local community. In many ways
Halifax is a village within very close
proximity to Huddersfield, Leeds,
Manchester and four international airports.
People are attracted to these areas because of
employment and as such will consider
different places to live such as our own.
Calderdale offers diverse landscapes with a
wide variety of property to suit all pockets
and as such I can only see Calderdale
growing in the future because of its
important economic location.
Therefore, I anticipate that sales and prices
will remain stable in the area until ultimately
growth will follow as a result of a stronger
overall economy throughout the country.
